CLINICAL EXPERTISE

Dr Nikesh Malik is a Consultant Cardiologist and Interventionalist practising in London and Surrey. He graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in London in 2002, achieving a Merit in Clinical Management. He subsequently undertook a postgraduate Interventional Research Fellowship leading to the award of an MD. He specialises in all areas of general cardiology, with particular expertise in coronary angioplasty and stenting, including complex techniques and intravascular imaging.


He sees adult patients with a range of cardiac symptoms, including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizzy spells and blackouts. He also investigates and manages patients with cardiac risk factors, including high blood pressure and cholesterol. His particular interest is in the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease and he performs a high volume of coronary angioplasty and stenting, including complex techniques, such as rotational atherectomy and chronic total occlusions.
